Former Plastic Surgeon Dr. Joel Roskind Will Teach Course at Boston University
March 3rd, 2010Although retired from his career as a plastic surgeon, Joel Roskind MD stays current in the medical area. In addition to teaching a case management class at Boston University Medical School, Joel Roskind MD will also be extending his services as a adviser in the domains of practice management and facility accreditation.
Joel Roskind MD draws on a wealth of knowledge that includes running a large, successful practice; serving as an inspector for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAASF); instructing at half a dozen medical schools and serving on a three-man plastic surgery team in the United States Navy.
At Boston University he will lecture a differential diagnosis course titled Integrated Problems. Dr. Roskind has previously instructed at Boston University, as well as the University of California, San Diego, the Nassau University Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Cornell Medical School and the University Of Miami School Of Medicine.
And, Joel Roskind MD is an veteran teacher. He has previously instructed at Boston University, as well as the Nassau University Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Cornell Medical School and the University of California, San Diego. He is also the former Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor or Surgery at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine.
Fulfilling the trust that patients put in their physicians has always been a part of Joel Roskind MDs personal mission as a doctor. Through his occupation as a teacher and consultant, Dr. Joel Roskind hopes to continue to contribute to the medical profession in a broader and more comprehensive way. When he is not instructing or consulting, he plans to pursue a personal interest in Judaic studies.
