Lady Gaga to Appear at Poker Festival
Lady Gaga will be putting on her poker face if she agrees to compete in a card tournament in Ireland.
The singer - whose single Poker Face hit No 1 in the US and the UK last year - has been invited to take part in the Irish Poker Festival next month, according to Online Poker News.
Gaga is getting ready to hit the road with hip-hop star Kanye West but she’s thought to be a huge fan of the game, so organisers are hoping she finds time to pop in and try her luck. The latest Lady Gaga video has already attracted lots of interest from the press.
Considering Lady GaGa was wearing hotpants, paired with a suit jacket, a flat cap and some boots when we caught up with her strolling through Washington Dulles airport yesterday we’re not quite sure why she was so keen to hide herself from the paparazzi.
Kanye West can rest assured that new tourmate Lady Gaga has got his back.
Gaga said on Monday that it was unfair for fans to judge West for his onstage confrontation with Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month.
“I can tell you that he’s very sorry, and he made a mistake, and he knows it,” Gaga told The Canadian Press over the telephone from Virginia, where the personable pop star munched on a bowl of cereal.
“But at the end of the day, he is a pioneer in hip-hop music, and he changed what hip-hop music means. And I think that it’s time for everyone to kind of take their heads out of the newspapers and remember that, in truth, Kanye’s making most of the music we hear on the radio today. “
“He has a tremendous effect on everybody’s lives and I think it’s unfair to judge a person by one thing that they said.”
Just a thought for you GaGa: if you don’t want to draw attention to yourself then don’t wear a pair of revealing hotpants paired with a flat cap, suit jacket and boots. Anyway, it’s not like Lady GaGa to be camera shy is it?!
